The Ark Youngstown team recently rolled up their sleeves at the Covelli Center to support one of the region’s largest community events: the annual Panerathon. On August 23rd, over 6,000 runners and walkers hit the pavement to raise funds for the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center (JACBCC). Engaging with our community is at the core of Ark’s values, and we appreciate the opportunity to support those who are fighting or have fought breast cancer.
A Mission of Accessible Care
Every stride makes a difference. This year, the Panerathon raised a whopping $700,000, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the Mercy Health Foundation Mahoning Valley to support the JACBCC. Through these funds, any woman who qualifies financially has her screening expenses completely covered, guaranteeing access to life-saving care regardless of her ability to pay. We are honored to have played a small part in advancing this incredible mission by sorting and stuffing participant bags to ensure every racer was equipped and ready to go.
Our Commitment to Community
At Ark Data Centers, we recognize that our responsibility extends far beyond keeping critical infrastructure running; it is about powering the communities where we live and work.
Empowering our teams to volunteer their time allows us to forge stronger local connections and drive meaningful, tangible change. We look forward to many more opportunities to step away from the data center and support the incredible organizations lifting up our neighborhoods.
